Cubs Care

We as a Pack always strive to have our Scout’s learn the Scout Law and make sure it goes into practice every day.

“To help other people at all times”Every year our Scouts achieve their goals and move up to the next Den with having to get a new handbook, neckerchief, slider, hat or even a new shirt. There are things that come up in one’s own life where we as parents try to make ends meet while giving the most to our kids for a normal life such as placing them in Cub Scouts.

We here at Pack 389 want to help not only other but our own so we started a program called “Cubs Care” where those who are no longer needing their items such as a handbook, neckerchief, sliders, hat or shirt can be donated to the Pack. The Pack would check the items to make sure they are in respectable condition and distribute any items available to those fellow scouts no questions asked.

I ask all parents with returning Scouts who would like to donate your items to the “Cubs Care” please talk with our Cub master, Assistant Cub master, Committee Chairman or Den Leaders. Also if you are in need of any items and want to keep discrete about it please talk with your Scout’s Den Leader and they will talk with the Committee in regards to your request.

As always if you have any spare change lying around and would like to donate it to the “Cubs Care” program please let our leaders know and they will make sure it goes to this wonderful program.
